Short biography

Dr. Md. Abdullah Saeed Khan an Epidemiologist and Public Health Expert currently working in the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare as an Assistant Professor of Epidemiology. He has an MBBS from Dhaka Medical College, an MPH majoring epidemiology from North South University and an MPhil in Preventive and Social Medicine (PSM) majoring health economics from the National Institute of Preventive and Social Medicine. He is currently pursuing his DPhil in Clinical Medicine at the University of Oxford.

Dr. Khan has been active with Pi Research Development Center as an research consultant since its inception. He also has been an advisor at the Public Health Promotion and Development Society from the beginning. He has worked on multiple studies involving infectious diseases, noncommunicable diseases, quality of life, economic evaluation, and clinical trials. His current works encompass the development of machine learning prediction algorithms for febrile illness management for which he has been collaborating with the South East Asian Community Trial Network (SEACTN) team at Mahidol-Oxford Research Unit (MORU), one of the tropical disease research units of the University of Oxford. He more than 100 peer-reviewed publications in various high-impact journals with more htan 2000 citations as per Google Scholar till the end of 2025.
